UML Vice-Chairman Yubaraj Gyawali has said that the issue of amending the statute should not be raised.

In the central committee meeting, he said that the statute should not be amended.

He said that amending the statute would create more complications and should not be done. Similarly, he said that he would not run for the leadership again as he has reached 70.

But he mentioned that he would remain active in the party.
