Senior leader of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and former Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha has said that the leftist forces should unite and bring about changes as per the expectations of the people. Addressing a unity message meeting organized in Syangja, he said that the division should not be repeated now.
'Political change has come after thousands of sacrifices, but the work of improving the living standards of the people is still to be done,' said leader Shrestha. 'Now, there is a need to transform the lifestyle of the people by emerging with new politics.'
Stating that the political discontent so far has led the country in the wrong direction, he accused the government of causing conflict. He said that the Gen-G movement is a common issue for all classes in the country.
Stating that the upcoming election on Falgun 21 seems uncertain, he said that all parties should cooperate with the government to hold elections on time.
