Leader Rawal accuses government of being distracted by other things rather than creating an environment for elections

Nepali Communist Party leader Bhim Rawal has said that looking at the government's activities, doubts have arisen about the holding of the House of Representatives elections on time.

Leader Rawal, who reached Doti to address the Nepali Communist Party's unity message meeting, accused the government of being distracted by other things than creating an environment for the election. 'Thousands of looted ammunition and deadly weapons have not been brought under control yet, many prisoners are still absconding,' he said at a press conference organized in Siliguri, Doti on Thursday. 'Looking at the peace and security situation, this government does not seem to be doing it the way it should.'

He said that the government should create an environment for all parties to participate in the election fearlessly. He said that there should be no internal or external interference in the election.

Rawal suggested the government not to do anything that would break the unity of the nation or disrupt social harmony.

In a different context, he said that the UML should be freed from KP Sharma Oli from the 11th general convention of the CPN-UML. "The 11th general convention of the CPN-UML, a party that has influence in the country's politics, is underway," Rawal said. "The honest leaders and workers in the UML should bid him (Oli) a respectful farewell from the general convention. For this, the general convention delegates should use discretion."
