Acting President of Nepali Congress Purna Bahadur Khadka nominated Yadav as the coordinator of the Central Investigation Committee on Active Membership as per Article 25(9) of the party's Statute, 2017 (with amendments) on Wednesday.
Chief Secretary of the party's Central Office Krishna Prasad Poudel informed that Shiva Prasad Humagain, Prof. Dr. Govinda Raj Pokharel, Ajay Babu Shiwakoti and Shanti Pariyar BK have been nominated as members of the committee. Acting President Khadka formed the committee as per the decision of the party's Central Working Committee meeting, Chief Secretary Poudel said.
The committee will study the list of active membership (new and renewal) and report within the stipulated time frame agreed upon by the 'Membership Management Central Committee', investigate the complaints received regarding active membership and prepare the final list of active membership (new and renewal) within the stipulated time frame.
