UML Senior Vice President Ishwor Pokharel has said that former President Bidya Devi Bhandari should not be denied membership of the CPN-UML. In an interaction with journalists in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Pokharel said that the state constitution does not prevent it, nor does international practice, and that it is wrong to deny party membership if a person so desires.
He also said that Vidya Bhandari's party membership was not an issue that needed to be raised as such an agenda.
'Even if the center decided, this agenda was not an issue that needed to be raised at this height. But now this agenda has been opened for the coming days, it is open, it will not remain open,' Pokharel said.
He also claims that he has been raising questions about the working style of Chairman KP Sharma Oli. He also said that although there is no difference of opinion within the party about the party, there is a wide difference of opinion within the working style.
