Nepali Congress leader Chandra Bhandari has announced that he will run for the post of party president at the 15th general convention to be held in Poush. Leader Bhandari made public his clear aspiration for the post of president by writing on social media Facebook.

Writing on social media on Wednesday, leader Bhandari made it clear that his aspirations and vision for the post of president have already been determined. Bhandari was defeated for the post of vice president in the 14th general convention.

After that, he was nominated as a central member. Elected to the House of Representatives from Gulmi Constituency No. 1, leader Bhandari is increasing his popularity within the Congress as a leader with a clean image and clear views.

He expressed his aspirations for the post of president by asking his friends' questions and expressing his views on the 15th general convention announced to be held in Kathmandu from December 10 to 12. 'My aspirations for the post of president in the 15th general convention of the Nepali Congress are clear, and my vision is also determined!' he wrote, 'But I am ready to move forward from zero to one hundred, as needed, according to the interests of the country, the people, democracy, and the needs of the organization. Steps should be taken respecting the suggestions of friends, the demands of the time, and the political market.'

He is considered a Shekhar Koirala supporter in the Congress. However, he has not yet made it clear whether he will support Shekhar-Gagan or Deuba.
