Invitations have been sent to 16 political parties to participate in the 11th National Convention of the UML. Representatives of the invited parties will participate as guests in the inaugural session of the convention.
UML Publicity Department Chief Rajendra Gautam said that letters have been sent to major political parties in Nepal to participate in the inauguration of the general convention.
General Convention Hospitality Committee Secretary Mahesh Bartaula said that invitations have been extended to Nepali Congress, Nepali Communist Party, National Swatantra Party (RSWP), Nepal Mazdoor Kisan Party, CPN (Revolutionary Maoist), CPN (ML), Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Rastriya Janamorcha, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), Nagarik Unmukti Party, Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party, and other parties.

She also said that since Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal is outside the valley, she has yet to meet and extend the invitation.
The inauguration of the UML general convention will be held on November 10 at Sallaghari in Bhaktapur.
