Prime Minister's appeal at all-party meeting - 'Let's think about how to make the election successful'

Prime Minister Sushila Karki has reiterated her commitment to holding the upcoming election on Falgun 21 in a peaceful and fear-free environment.

Addressing an all-party meeting called by the Prime Minister in Baluwatar on Friday, she expressed her commitment to hold the House of Representatives election no later than Falgun 21, stating that the Election Commission, all organs of the security agencies, and state bodies directly related to the election are ready for the election.

She said, "Let's not think about whether the election will be held or not, let's think about how to make the election successful. If everyone thinks with one mind, there is no question of there being no election. All 126 parties should have the opinion that the election should be held. If we are unanimous, no one can disrupt the election, no bad elements can attack."

She mentioned that the first link of security is the people, and only then the police, armed forces, and former security personnel.

Prime Minister Karki mentioned that the all-party meeting held on Friday had also stated that the parties were ready for the election.

She also urged the parties to unite and find a way forward, recalling the protests held on Bhadra 23 and 24.

He said that since Genji, he has been continuously and repeatedly discussing with all parties, the Election Commission, security agencies, and civil society, and has been dispelling doubts.
