Leaders of major political parties have participated in an all-party meeting called by Prime Minister Sushila Karki. The Prime Minister had called an all-party meeting including officials of the Election Commission to brief her on the latest situation in the election.

The meeting is being attended by General Secretary Gagan Thapa and Pushpa Bhusal from the Nepali Congress, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel and Mahesh Bartaula from the Nepali Congress, Shakti Basnet and Prakash Jwala from the Nepali Congress, Sobita Gautam and Shishir Khanal from the Nepali Congress. Similarly, Bhuwan Pathak and Rajendra Gurung from the Nepali Congress, Prakash Adhikari from the Nepali Congress, and Narendra Chaudhary from the Nepali Congress are participating in the meeting, according to the Prime Minister's Secretariat. The government is represented by Prime Minister Karki, Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, Communications Minister Jagdish Kharel, and Acting Chief Commissioner of the Election Commission Ram Prasad Bhandari, Commissioners Janaki Kumari Tuladhar and Sagun Shumsher Rana. The heads of all four security agencies are present in the discussion.
