Nepal Communist Party Co-Convenor and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has clarified that a new party has been formed to put the communist movement back on the revolutionary path.
He said that the 'Nepali Communist Party' was born to re-establish political practices based on the values of equality, justice and good governance.
Addressing the Unity Message Assembly, Nepal said, 'We have formed a new party to bring happiness and prosperity to the lives of the people so that everyone can feel equality, the problems of the people are resolved, and the end of the political distortions spread in the country is our first agenda.'
Nepal also called on the new generation to join the party, noting that the new generation is also increasingly attracted to the party. 'This is a party for everyone, a common party for all classes and communities. We must take a strong resolve to take it forward,' he said.
Targeting the upcoming elections, he urged the leaders and activists to move forward by making the party the largest political force in the country. 'Strive to make the Nepali Communist Party the first force in the country in the upcoming elections,' Nepal emphasized.
