After the unity message meetings held in Dhangadhi, Dang and Pokhara, the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) has launched the fourth 'Party Unity Message Meeting' in Biratnagar, the capital of Koshi Province, on Sunday.
The meeting is being addressed by top party leaders - three former prime ministers Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal, as well as senior leaders Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Bhim Rawal, Rajendra Shrestha and others.
Organizing Committee Chairman and NCP leader Haribol Gajurel, in his inaugural speech, described this unity as an event that will give a decisive turn in Nepali politics. According to him, 'This is not an ordinary unity, but a unity that will shake the world.' He says, 'The transformed party has now overcome the process of polarization and become the biggest force of the left wing in the country.'
Gajurel mentioned that the party unity message meeting was held with the aim of protecting the constitution and orienting the country towards socialism. A large number of party workers and supporters are participating in the meeting. Leader Sarita Khadka said that the message meeting held in Biratnagar is expected to give an important message about the future political direction and the unity of the left forces.
