Ghanshyam Bhusal has been elected as the acting president of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) United. Chairman Chandradev Joshi gave Bhusal the responsibility of acting president in a special general convention organizing committee meeting.

On Monday, he said in a press conference that he had handed over the party's responsibility to Bhusal. Acting Chairman Bhusal said that despite the Gen-G movement, the leaders had not learned their lesson.

'Politics should have been learned. It didn't happen,' he said, 'The game of power politics has disappointed us. Again, the same faces have returned to politics. '

Chairman Joshi also said that the communist movement has become mired in a quagmire. 'In the eyes of the public, the communist movement has become unreliable. Everyone has been called the same dangka radish. It is not easy to get a communist stuck in a quagmire. '
