Ghanshyam Bhusal has been elected as the acting president of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) United. Chairman Chandradev Joshi gave Bhusal the responsibility of acting president in a special general convention organizing committee meeting.

On Monday, he said in a press conference that he had handed over the party's responsibility to Bhusal. Acting Chairman Bhusal said that despite the Gen-G movement, the leaders had not learned their lesson.
