The National Independent Party (NISP) has decided to remove the in-charges of all seven provinces. The central committee meeting held on Tuesday decided to remove the secretariat members who were in charge of the provinces from their posts and give the role of province in-charge to central members. The new province in-charges have not been appointed yet.

Last April, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Party (RSWP) had appointed Santosh Pariyar as the provincial in-charge for Koshi, Manish Jha as the provincial in-charge for Madhesh, Nima Adhikari as the provincial in-charge for Bagmati, Shishir Khanal as the provincial in-charge for Gandaki, Bipin Acharya as the provincial in-charge for Lumbini, Ganesh Parajuli as the provincial in-charge for Karnali, and Hari Dhakal as the provincial in-charge for Sudurpaschim.

Of these, Pariyar, who was the provincial in-charge for Koshi, has already left the RSWP. The RSWP has decided to form rapid action teams in all municipalities targeted for the upcoming elections and to issue instructions to the provincial and district organizations for this purpose.
