The party's 11th General Convention, to be held in Kathmandu from Mangsir 10 to 12, will see the selection of delegates on the same day, Mangsir 13, across the country and abroad.
UML has intensified preparations for its 11th General Convention. A meeting of the General Convention Secretariat was held at the party's central office, Chyasal, on Wednesday. The meeting began with the coordinators of 13 different sub-committees.
The party's 11th general convention to be held in Kathmandu from Mangsir 27 to 29 will be held on Mangsir 13, and the general convention representatives will be selected on the same day across the country and abroad. About 2,200 representatives are participating in the UML general convention.
It has also been directed not to charge a maximum of Rs 1,000 for the candidacy fee for the representatives.
The UML Organization Department has also issued instructions to the leaders deployed in the relevant areas for the selection of representatives to reach their work areas on time and facilitate the representative selection process.
