Provincial government is moving towards its goal: Chief Minister Baniya

Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya has claimed that the Bagmati Province government is moving forward towards its goals.

Making public the achievements of the 100 days since the formation of the government, Chief Minister Baniya claimed in Hetauda on Tuesday that he is moving forward by prioritizing good governance and cost reduction. ‘The government has just completed 100 days since its formation. In the meantime, there was no time to work due to various festivals and the Gen-G movement. Due to which not much work has been done visibly. However, the government is moving forward towards its goals.’

He said that the establishment of ministries, operation and budget implementation have become challenging due to the damage caused by the Gen-G movement. He said that the relationship between the ruling UML and the Congress is good. ‘As reported in the news, the relationship between the ruling parties has not deteriorated. If the relationship had deteriorated, we would not have sat on the same platform,’ he said.

Chief Minister Baniya informed that preparations are underway to hold the provincial assembly meeting soon. ‘It has become difficult to hold the meeting due to the fire in the provincial assembly building. Now the construction of the building has been completed. The meeting will be held soon,’ he said.

Chief Minister Baniya has also directed the ministers to immediately complete the work that has not progressed due to delays in the preparation of Gaurav projects and work procedures, which have stalled the provincial government.
