Those who have left the party include Federal Council Chairman Shrestha, Vice-Chairman Randhwaj Limbu (Kandangwa), Parashuram Basnet, Central Advisory Committee Chairman Durgamani Dewan, Central Expert Council Chairman Pushparaj Rajkarnikar, and Central Disciplinary Commission Chairman Krishna Bahadur Dhaju.

Six leaders, including JSP Federal Council Chairman Shrestha, leave party, to join NCP

Six leaders, including Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Federal Council Chairman Rajendra Kumar Shrestha, have left the party.

They left the JSP on Sunday, seeking unity and polarization in the Nepali Communist Party, which is made up of various components. Those who left the party include Federal Council Chairman Shrestha, Vice Chairman Randhwaj Limbu (Kandangwa), Parashuram Basnet, Central Advisory Committee Chairman Durgamani Dewan, Central Expert Council Chairman Pushparaj Rajkarnikar, and Central Disciplinary Commission Chairman Krishna Bahadur Dhaju. 

Talking to Ikantipur, Chairman Shrestha said that his group would merge with the Nepali Communist Party. According to him, there is a program to announce unity with the Nepali Communist Party on Mangsir 10. 

He said that the Ashok Rai group is still in the midst of the struggle and there was also talk of forming a new party under the leadership of Pradeep Yadav. He said, 'We decided to chart our own path based on consensus. There were three poles in the Janata Samajwadi Party. And, we were going to join the Nepali Communist Party. Ashok Rai is in the middle and is also in the other group.'
