'Let's trust the people in a fluid political situation'
Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the political situation that emerged after the Gen-G movement has not yet been resolved and that the people should be taken into confidence through nationwide party unity message meetings and election programs.
At the meeting of the NCP secretariat and provincial in-charges at the central office, Parisdanda, he said that the election should be held cautiously.
‘The political situation is still fluid. We should proceed cautiously. After completing the work of internal management of the party, a message meeting should be held as soon as possible. The message meeting and the election program should be linked,’ Dahal said, ‘Even if it is done through mass mobilization, the election should be held at the center. We should direct the direction to the people. It is important to go to the people first and gain their trust.’
Spokesperson Agni Sapkota said that preparations are being made to hold a unity message meeting in the provinces, districts and municipalities. ‘It is homework to hold a party unity message meeting in the provinces, districts and municipalities,’ he said, ‘Inter-party guidelines will be issued after discussing with the leaders of the constituents who have come to the party unity.’
Talking to journalists after the meeting, leader Bhim Rawal said that there was no doubt about unifying the party. He said that the doubts would be cleared after adjusting the list of the central committee sent to the Election Commission for party registration purposes. "All doubts will be cleared after the central coordination adjustment," he said.
