Rawal's priority in the party will be decided by mutual agreement.
Former UML Vice President Bhim Rawal has joined the Nepali Communist Party. Rawal, of the Motherland Awakening Campaign, Nepal, reached an agreement with NCP coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal and co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal on Wednesday.
The agreement states that issues including Rawal's responsibilities in the NCP will be decided through mutual agreement. Similarly, the agreement also mentions the formation of task forces at various levels as needed for party unification.
After the UML took action to eliminate even ordinary members, Rawal had launched the Matrubhumi Jagran Abhiyan under his own coordination.
The formal announcement of the unification will be made at the National Assembly House shortly. It has already been agreed that Dahal, Nepal, Jhalanath Khanal, Bamdev Gautam and Narayan Kaji Shrestha will be in the secretariat of the Nepali Communist Party. Leaders say that the tripartite talks between Dahal, Nepal and Rawal will determine Rawal's priority.
