CPN-UML central member Prakash Shah is preparing to join the Nepali Communist Party (NCP). On Wednesday, the Bhim Rawal-led Matrubhumi Jagran Abhiyan is being integrated with the CPN. Central member Shah is preparing to join the CPN in the same program.

UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli's statement that 'there will be no discussion in the 11th General Convention and the General Convention will be concluded after his directive speech' prompted Shah to react that Chairman Oli is moving forward with the intention of 'slitting the jaws'.

Is there no such thing as honesty, time, morality, accountability in politics?' Oli has shown the same. He said that Kirtinidhi Bista, the Prime Minister of the Panchayat period, showed more morality and accountability than Oli. Bista resigned on moral grounds when the Singha Durbar fire broke out. Oli's recent statements are pushing the country towards further crisis and confrontation, he said. No leader responsible for the nation and the people can act like Oli.
