CPN-UML leader Ram Kumari Jhankri has said that self-serving activities are being carried out in the name of the Gen-G movement.
On Monday, while joining the CPN-UML through the Ghar Fark National Campaign program, leader Jhankri said that although the Gen-G movement was a generational outrage, there were many who were making bread in it.
She said that now a narrative like Gen-G movement vs. CPN-UML has been created. She said that the stockholders of the Gen-G movement have started to claim themselves and work for their own interests without knowing it. She said that the bread-makers in the Gen-G movement have been pitted against the UML.
She said, ‘The Gen-G movement was a generational outrage. That was a normal thing. Whatever elements were involved in it to make bread, looking back today, the Gen-G movement vs. CPN-UML and its leadership emerged in society. The stockholders of the Gen-G movement have been unknowingly claiming themselves in society. Whether it is the then Maoist party, a part of the Nepali Congress, the RPP, the RSVP, or those running other types of independent campaigns, look at society. Those who baked bread in the Gen-G movement are against the CPN-UML today.'
Leader Jhakri said that we should worry about where the society is going. She called on the revolutionary forces to return to the UML, saying that they should not remain confused anymore. She said that they should come to the CPN-UML to protect sovereignty, public property, and civil life.
