Nepal Communist Party (NCP) General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand has commented that the environment for the election has not been created.
He, who reached the Election Commission in Kantipath, Kathmandu on Friday to receive the signatures of the central members for the party registration, reacted to the media that the environment for the election has not been created yet.
General Secretary Chand stated that the country will have an election one day and expressed his commitment to serve the country and the people by participating in it. He said that the election is a new front of revolution and struggle and that the party decided to participate in the election based on the suggestions given by the people.
Chand said, 'The election is a continuation of the rebellion. We will not accept the parliamentary system completely, but will use it as a new front of revolution and struggle in favor of the people. We have no other means other than the party to serve the people and serve the country. This is a new party and this step has been taken according to the advice of the people.'
General Secretary Chand also said that he had discussed with Ghanshyam Bhusal and Janardan Sharma the issue of finding a way out of the crisis by building a new communist center.
He said, 'We have thought of three things - first, to take the initiative to build a new communist center. Second, to take the initiative to build a socialist center. Third, to move forward together with patriotic, socialist and communist forces to find a way out of the current unstable and critical political situation in the country. It is true that the environment for elections is not ready right now. However, one day there will be elections.’
