Leaders Ram Kumari Jhankri, Kisan Shrestha and others who broke away from the Unified Socialist Party have met UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli. They met at Oli's residence in Gundu, Bhaktapur on Thursday.

Jhakri, Shrestha and other leaders were dissatisfied after the Nepali Communist Party (NCP-S) merged with the 10-party Nepali Communist Party, including the Maoist Center, on Wednesday. UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel was also present at the meeting.

The UML has stated that it will organize a 'Homecoming Campaign' program at the National Assembly in Kathmandu on November 24 to welcome Jhakri, Shrestha and others to the party.
