Labor Culture Party Chairman Hark Sampang has said that the party will expand its organization from Mechi to Mahakali before the elections.
Sampang, who arrived in Phidim, the headquarters of Panchthar, on Tuesday, made this statement while addressing a meeting organized at the playground of Phidim Secondary School. He said that with the party registration and organization expansion, his organization has now embarked on the election campaign. Commenting that the country has not been able to develop due to discrimination based on work, wealth and name, Sampang, who is also the mayor of Dharan Sub-metropolitan City, said that his organization will focus on respecting work and controlling corruption.
He commented that his party has started a campaign to call everyone a laborer, not a leader or a cadre, because people are not big or small based on position, not just work, wealth and name.
He said that the country will develop only through political parties' sweet speeches among cadres, but through labor and sweat on the soil of the country.
He said that despite various parties taking turns leading the country after 2046 BS, development and prosperity have not been achieved, and Sampang believed that in the upcoming elections, he would leave behind old faces and support new ones.
Stating that he is known at home and abroad for the labor campaign he launched, Sampang said, 'We will build an organization that can be used to protect the border of the Mahakali by lifting stones from the river and passing them there. We will change the face of the country by leading it with the support of that power,' Sampang said.
In a speech lasting about an hour and a half, Sampang made the citizens present laugh by satirizing the Congress, UML and Maoist leaders and also entertained his supporters by singing songs he composed.
Citizens from various local levels of the district came to participate in Sampang's program. Sampang made everyone present hold soil in their fists and took an oath of party membership, saying that they would swear for the soil.
