The meeting of the Maoist General Convention Organizing Committee has approved the proposal for party unity with the CPN-S and other parties. The proposal regarding unity submitted by coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal was unanimously passed.
"The proposal regarding unity has been unanimously passed," said a leader participating in the meeting organized at Pragya Pratishtha. "The coordinator informed that discussions are also underway with former UML leader Bhim Rawal for party unity."
In the meeting, Dahal said that the unified party will advance the socialist revolution and that this campaign will not be stopped.
