Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said that the cost of workers going for foreign employment should be gradually made free.
Prime Minister Karki, who also holds the responsibility of the Ministry of Labor, said that it is necessary to make the recruitment process of workers going for foreign employment transparent while addressing the 18th anniversary of the Foreign Employment Board.
‘Foreign employment should be gradually made free,’ she said, ‘The foreign employment sector should be made dignified, systematic and safe.’
Prime Minister Karki also said that it is necessary to completely control fraud. ‘Current foreign employment is a compulsion. As an alternative to this, a reintegration program is necessary for the welfare of workers who have returned from foreign employment,’ she said, ‘I instruct to make necessary policy and structural arrangements for this.’
Prime Minister Karki has instructed to pay special attention to managing the Beruju fursuit seen in the Foreign Employment Board.
At the program, Labor Secretary Krishnahari Pushkar said that necessary policy arrangements will be made for reintegration starting from Beruju fursuit as per the Prime Minister’s instructions.
