Interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki is scheduled to discuss the parliamentary elections to be held in Falgun with the Chief Ministers of all seven provinces.

Prime Minister Karki has called the Chief Ministers of all seven provinces to the Prime Minister's Office at 4 pm on Sunday to discuss the election issue. According to Bagmati Province Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya, the time has been set for the first meeting with the Prime Minister after the formation of the interim government to discuss the country's contemporary political issues and the elections to be held in Falgun.

'The Prime Minister has set a time for the meeting. We, the Chief Ministers of all seven provinces, will discuss the current situation of the country, the parliamentary elections and the situation of the provinces in the meeting,' Baniya said. He said that since the current government was formed to hold elections, there is no possibility of discussion on the laws to be made by the provinces, the powers delegated by the federation, etc.

The Chief Ministers of the provinces used to meet the Chief Ministers of the provinces every year and issue a joint declaration, meet the Prime Minister and demand the necessary powers to fully implement federalism. However, this year, this meeting could not be held due to the Gen-G movement.
