UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has proposed the formation of a new government.
UML central member Bishnu Rijal informed through Facebook that Oli proposed to form a new government with the participation of Gen-G and hold elections on Falgun 21, which he met with at his residence in Gundu, Bhaktapur.
Oli has put forward a 6-point proposal to end the current political uncertainty.
Oli's roadmap
1. Restoration of the unconstitutionally dissolved House of Representatives
2. Immediately amend the constitution from the House of Representatives so that a person who is not a member of Parliament can be appointed Prime Minister by the President with the consent of the parties for the purpose of an electoral government
3. Even if he is removed from the post of Prime Minister in the name of the Gen-G movement, it is clear that he will not claim the post of Prime Minister again to avoid further bitterness
4. Formation of an all-party/all-sided government with the participation of Gen-G
5. Elections within three months by that government. In doing so, it is possible to hold elections to the new House of Representatives on the announced date of Falgun 21
6. Advance consensus must be formed among political parties to ensure all these works to bring the constitution and democracy into line
