During the meeting held at Deputy Speaker Rana's office in Singha Durbar on Tuesday, they exchanged experiences. Deputy Speaker Rana also honored Magar, who was recently elected mayor, according to his secretariat.
On the same occasion, Deputy Speaker Rana said, 'You are a source of pride for Nepalis. I expect you to play a role in making the council's service effective by including all classes and communities in the borough.'
Born in Chandravan (now Madhagadhi Rural Municipality-1) of Chidipani, Palpa, Saru completed his school education from Saubhagya Secondary School. Then, while pursuing his graduation from Tribhuvan Multiple Campus in Palpa, he was recruited into the British Army in 1993. Saru, who served in the British Army for nearly three decades, is currently the president of the British Gorkha Veterans Association.
