CPN-UML Chairman and then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that suspicious activities took place during the Gen-G movement and that an impartial investigation should be conducted.
In a dialogue with editors in Kathmandu on Sunday, Chairman Oli said that it was not the protesters but TOB who broke the barricades in Baneshwor and incited the crowd. 'Some of the Gen-Gs who had come to demonstrate had already returned home, but some were stopped from returning by some elements. Then they went inside the parliament building,' he said.
Oli said that he had not committed a single penny of corruption and said that the fabricated allegations should be investigated. He said, 'I did not commit a single penny of corruption. You should investigate me together. Whatever you do, it will happen. My house is burnt. Every particle of the burnt house will be counted. The salary I earned as a minister is in my bank account, that too will be counted.'
He claimed that the shooting incident was suspicious, like the previous one, saying that the students were forced to go to the International Conference Center by punching and punching. He said that a plan was found to be made for looting and arson. He said that he had called a cabinet meeting at that time to investigate the deaths in the shooting incident on the 23rd, but the next day, a different scene was seen.
