The meeting ended on Friday by passing the political report presented by Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
UML has decided to hold its 11th general convention on November 27, 28, and 29 to elect a new leadership, said Publicity Department Head Rajendra Gautam. The meeting concluded that the government has not created an environment for the election.
‘The government has remained silent. How can voters reach the polling station by leaving weapons looted from the police outside,’ concluded UML, ‘Now there is a situation that is pushing us into a multifaceted crisis. The election cannot be held. UML demands the re-establishment of Parliament.’
