On Friday, she held discussions with Maoist Center Senior Vice President Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Deputy General Secretary Barshaman Pun. During the discussions, she expressed her commitment to the government to hold elections on time.

Do not doubt that the government will not hold elections.’ She expressed her commitment that the main task of the government is to hold elections.
Maoist leader duo Shrestha and Pun had said that their party had decided to go to the elections before other parties and had started preparations.
‘We have already decided to go to the elections before other parties. We have also started the election preparations,' they said, 'We will encourage other parties to go to the elections.'
They said that the government will move forward firmly to create an environment for holding elections and that their party will support them. 'There is a fear of peace and security in the society. There is an atmosphere of fear. Make peace and security better,' Pun informed about the meeting, 'Our support will be in the elections. We will discuss with other parties.'
He said that he had heard that Prime Minister Karki was determined to hold elections on time. 'Prime Minister, the Prime Minister is determined to hold elections on time,' he told Ikantipur, 'He expressed that his main priority is to hold elections on time.'
In the meeting that lasted about an hour at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar, Karki said that she would talk to other parties to create an environment for elections.
