Speaker Devraj Ghimire has called the chief whips of the political parties represented in the dissolved House of Representatives to discuss whether to go to court with a writ petition against the dissolution of the House of Representatives.

The chief whips and whips of the parties represented in the dissolved House of Representatives are participating in the discussion currently underway at Singha Durbar. 

It is said that Speaker Ghimire and Deputy Speaker Indira Rana Magar will take information about the parties' views on the dissolution of the House of Representatives. The chief whips of political parties including Congress, UML, Maoist, RPP, Unified Socialist Party, JSP Nepal, JSP, LSP, NAUPA, Janmat are participating in the discussion. 

The General Secretary of the Parliament Secretariat and other office bearers are also present in the meeting . The Speaker has previously consulted with legal experts and constitutional experts on the dissolution of the House of Representatives on whether to take the case to court regarding the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
