UML President and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's statement in a program held on Thursday in Gundu has been heavily criticized on social media. Dissatisfaction has been expressed saying that the comments he made in the program are uncontrolled and lead the country to more violence.

Oli has announced that he will not accept the commission formed to investigate the repression and violence in the Gen-G movement that took place on August 23 and 24. He also alleged that the current government is not representative of Nepali people. How does his controversial statement affect the current situation? We consulted with civil society leaders. The opinions expressed by them are as follows:

'The thought is the result of not being possible'

A person who does politics wants his existence and desire to continue . It is natural. He  He wants to come back to the government and power. It is a matter of concern why such a situation has arisen. We thought that a new kind of exit would come out by changing . It . Their confidence is increasing because of this.  Now everything is normalized . It seems that the psychology that we should be our own advocates is now revealed. It is natural to appear like that. 'Such expressions also cloud the atmosphere of the election'

When you are in the government, everything is fine, and everything is fine, just like the previous parties used to run. It can be seen from his expression that there has been no improvement in the country even though there have been so many changes. He has also raised various questions about the commission.

If he had gone to the commission made by the government and kept his point. Making public comments will make people feel negative and disappointed. With all these activities, the people cannot be convinced that the country will be peaceful and elections will be held in a harmonious environment. 'Oli's further comment has become irrelevant in itself'

Oli's incompetence has brought the country to the situation, in this situation, Oli's comments on more things have become irrelevant. The country is in such a sensitive state that it is in a state of being ignited by small sparks . I don't think Oli is responsible. What kind of expression is being given by the leader of the party called responsible party,  It leads to the destruction of society . Oli's speeches used to insult people before. Now there is no apology for the mistakes made during his leadership. There is no sense of responsibility. 

There are also people who are waiting for an opportunity to see how to lead the country to conflict. To strengthen it, those who are giving such expressions will lead to more unrest . Already, the country's economic growth is going down. Businessmen are unable to invest . In such a situation, will the leaders give responsibility to the new generation or will they put it more in the hole ? 'Oli's provocative words are energetic only for Emeljan'

A picture of the upheaval that has happened in this country in the last one month fits in his mind according to which he is only a victim in this whole case, not responsible or accountable in any way . There is hardly any other Nepali who has such a big difference between reality and thinking.  Oligy has a clear message to other parties: Don't think about improvement, don't even go for elections. Bringing back the old Olirajya by making the current government fail as much as possible. 

This call has an important dimension: instead, let's rewrite the past, establish the narrative of our own greatness and sacrifice, but let's not think about the future with an open heart and how to move society forward in a changed environment. 

The anarchy of a group claiming to be Jen-G activists has spread and it has caused a lot of trouble to the current government. It seems that Oli has come to the conclusion that there is no other option but to bring down the government and bring back the old reputation and power by deepening the problem. There is a risk that the party will continue with the same strategy when there is practically no other brain in UML except for a few exceptions. 

For now, that's the way to encounter . It does not seem that there will be a meeting between the UML and the government because those who are in power now have not reached there like the leaders of the party to gain power and wealth. The day it is realized that popular legitimacy is over, the same day Sushilaji's team will leave power and a terrible political vacuum will be created in the country. 

As many interest groups exist in that void, there will be no option to establish their dominance through fierce violence. If such an encounter takes place, the Great Destruction of August 24 will be annihilated. It will continue until the country's military imposes a state of emergency and begins repression. Even then, there will be no guarantee of non-election in the country and the risk of foreign intervention may turn into a reality.
