The Seventh Plenary Meeting of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) has started at Pragya Bhawan Kamaladi. Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal made a political and organizational proposal in the meeting.
The proposal includes a review of the Gen-G movement, preparation for the election announced on February 21, the date of the special convention in the last week of November, and transfer of leadership to the younger generation.
The Central Committee, which is going to sit after the Zen-ji movement, will decide on party reorganization, leadership transfer and upcoming elections in the changing political situation, according to the Maoists.
