Newly appointed Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Minister Anil Kumar Sinha has decided to amend the Land Use (Second Amendment) Regulations.
Taking charge of the ministry at Singhdarbar on Tuesday, he claimed to remove the obstacles caused by the land use regulations in development construction. The ministry had earlier prepared the amendment saying that the regulation had obstructed the power line extension and other development works.
Minister Sinha said, 'Due to the land use regulations, land acquisition has been stopped, due to which electricity transmission line and other development works have also been affected. Now the process will be made easier by revising this regulation.'
Land Use Regulations, 2081 are being prepared for the second revision. He said that he will be active in solving the problems seen in the cooperative sector and will carry out other works from people's savings in a planned manner.
