The political parties have started internal discussions to go to the elections that were announced due to the dissolution of the House of Representatives due to the Gen-G movement. After President Ramchandra Paudel announced the election on February 21 on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sushila Karki, the parties are engaged in internal preparations. There is also pressure to create an environment for elections within and outside the party.

The Congress, UML and Maoists led by the main political parties alternately failed to address the demands of the common people, including corruption and good governance.

Although the eight parties in the House of Representatives claim that the dissolution of the parliament is unconstitutional, since the date of the election has been announced, the parties have started discussions from the center to the local committees to make an election-friendly program. Similarly, the leaders have started doing their homework about the upcoming election strategy in their constituencies.

In the meeting of the Congress Central Working Committee held on Friday, General Minister Gagan Thapa and Vishwa Prakash Sharma expressed the view that the party elections should not be held due to the dissolution of the Parliament due to the strength of the Gen-G movement. Although the leaders of Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba's party were of the view that the parliament should be restored, Thapa and Sharma said that according to the building of the Gen-G movement, they should go to the election on the announced date .

'After the Jain-Ji movement, an interim government has been formed under special circumstances . Now the parliament can be brought with a fresh mandate by going through the election process. Now a different political challenge has arisen. "At this time, not right and left, elections should be made the main objective," said Thapa and Sharma,  The President has dissolved the House of Representatives. People's representatives remain in the National Assembly, Provincial Assembly and local bodies. Now the Congress should create an atmosphere that will take everyone to the election.'

Congress General Minister Thapa and Sharma have emphasized that the election should be made successful according to the spirit of the Gen-G movement. They have said that it would be appropriate to go to the election and form a fresh House of Representatives. "Now we have to go to the February 21 elections for the fresh House of Representatives," said General Minister Sharma, "Parties should pressurize to go to the elections with support and vigilance." "In the current situation, we should also discuss with other parties to create an election environment," he said.

The review of the situation after the dissolution of the House of Representatives has also started within the UML led by the last government displaced by the Zen-G movement. Since the election has been announced by the President, UML is also under pressure to move in the same direction.

Before making the election a mission within UML  Leaders have started opening up in favor of growth. Vice President Ashtalakshmi Shakya mentioned that the government led by Prime Minister Sushila Karki should create a fair, transparent and fearless environment for elections and said that strengthening democracy, nationalism and federalism would be appropriate to go to the elections.

'After the dissolution of the House of Representatives, a difficult situation has arisen . The government should facilitate the difficult situation and create an environment for the election," she said. "The parties have no other option but to go to the election.

UML leader Padam Giri, who is also the previous law minister, said that since the government was formed in a special situation after the Gen-G movement, the parties should go to the election without controversy and confusion. "Now the government has been formed in a special situation. It is better to go to the people than to dispute and confuse about the election . With a fresh mandate, the constitution can be protected and the democratic republic can be strengthened," he said, "according to that, the party should create an election environment." But  He said that the latest political events should be deeply reviewed and the environment for elections should be created.  

Maoists have also instructed the floor committees to prepare for the elections. President Pushpa Kamal Dahal has instructed the state in-charges to prepare for the elections. Saying that there is no option to go to the election, he gave instructions on Thursday to make the election program at the local level.

Senior Vice President Narayankaji Shrestha has said that the government should be assisted in holding the election of the House of Representatives at the appointed time. He said that the conspiracy to undermine the achievements of the Gen-Ji movement should be broken. "Instead of going in the direction of making the success of the Gen-G movement fully successful for the benefit of the country and the people, the conspiracy to destroy it or to use it to serve any strategic interests against Nepal and the Nepali people should not be successful," he said, "In this context, the immediate central task of the nation is to successfully complete the general election on the announced date."

President Dahal at the party central office Parisdanda on Constitution Day on Friday made it clear that there is no ambivalence about going to the Maoist elections. Now the election has been announced after 6 months. Let the elections be held on the announced date and let the country get a new exit. And from that, we wish that the way to make a directly elected executive president according to the spirit of Gen-G movement should be opened constitutionally," he said, "Therefore, we have now come to a place where we have to contribute from our respective places to complete this election without any ambiguity or confusion."
