In the 75-year history of the establishment of the Nepal Communist Party, the logo of world communist parties has changed the color of hammer and sickle to UML. Since the white color is being used, now the UML will mark the hammer and sickle of golden color in red color.

The party's logo and the color of the hammer and sickle were changed by the Legislative Assembly saying that it would look beautiful when kept in gold.

Congress has re-elected Vijay Subba as the head of the Election Commission. Sanuraja Pokharel and secretary Kunsang Lama were unanimously elected as vice president.
