Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has requested to study the letter sent by her and give suggestions. After being barred from participating in the second legislative convention of UML, which started at Godavari in Lalitpur from Friday, former President Bhandari sent a message of good wishes and asked her to study the letter she had sent.
The secretariat meeting of UML decided that people who are not members of the party cannot participate in the legislative session. The secretariat meeting on Thursday evening said that the issue of who the party will grant membership to or not will fall within the jurisdiction of the central committee and if former president Bidya Devi Bhandari's membership is not renewed, it cannot be an agenda in the legislative session.
After the party's secretariat meeting stopped going to the convention, Bhandari gave a video message through News Agency Nepal and wished the delegates success.
He said that since the UML and its objective are the same, everyone should work together to achieve the goal of a prosperous Nepal and a happy Nepali. She expressed her hope to get appropriate suggestions and advice from the members of the party who will attend the legislative convention.
She suggested that UML has a big responsibility to develop the country and to fulfill it emotionally and organizationally together.
