Seven candidates from CPN S recommended for Rupandehi-3 by-election

Nepal Communist Party (Unified Samajwadi) has recommended the names of seven candidates for the by-elections to be held in Rupandehi Constituency No. 3.

The district committee of the party held a meeting in Bhairahawa of Rupandehi  General Secretary and former Agriculture Minister Ghanshyam Bhusal has recommended the names of seven people. Bhusal was elected as a member of the House of Representatives from CPN (UML) in this region in 2074.

Lumbini province vice president Kamal Bhandari, Rupandehi district president Hiradhwaj Shah, provincial committee members Anand Prasad Gupta, Asha Chaudhary, Thaneshwar Kharel and Rupandehi-1 co-in-charge Vijayalakshmi Rai have been recommended by the party. 

The working group formed to select candidates from the names sent by the district will recommend the names of three people, including one woman, to the central committee. The party's central deputy general secretary and Lumbini province in-charge Metmani Chaudhary, central secretary and province co-in-charge Somprasad Pandey, provincial president Abdul Hussain Khan, Rupandehi district in-charge E Nandlal Banjade and Rupandehi president Hiradhwaj Shah are members of the working group will send the names of three people. 

Deputy Secretary General Choudhary informed that the task force will discuss with all seven people and recommend the names of three people only after understanding the election strategy. Rupandehi-3 will hold a by-election on October 17.
