Chairman of CPN United Socialist Madhav Kumar Nepal has requested the government to take all necessary initiatives to protect the country's sovereignty and geography.

On the occasion of the party's fourth founding day, he issued a statement today, saying that pressure should be put on the concerned parties to protect the country's sovereignty through cooperation and coordination, and he also called on the neighboring countries to respect Nepali geography.

Nepal has mentioned that all parties including the government should be pressured to take all necessary initiatives to protect the country's sovereignty and geography. "Even on the basis of historical facts and evidence, news is coming in the media that there is an agreement between India and China over Kalapani, Lipulek and Limpiyadhura, which are Nepal's territories, to the extent that our sovereignty is compromised," he said, "On the occasion of Party Reorganization Day, we leave no stone unturned to protect the sovereignty of the country, including mutual dialogue, drawing the serious attention of the government to respect the sovereignty and geography of neighboring Nepal. We also challenge the nations.'

Stating that it is necessary to resolve to strengthen socialism-oriented democracy, build an egalitarian society and institutionalize the rights of the poor, peasants and oppressed classes, he mentioned that the deviation seen within the communist movement should be eliminated and the movement should be purified and unified.

President Nepal, who is also a former Prime Minister, has emphasized on strengthening the national independence and ensuring the basic rights and needs of the people. He expressed his commitment that the integrated socialists, who are making the question of national freedom, democratic rights and people's livelihood the main 'agenda', will move forward firmly in the interest of the workers-farmers, Dalits, women, oppressed and deprived classes, taking nationalism, democracy and social justice as its basis.
