Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Deepak Khadka has claimed that Shashank Koirala will become the President of Congress after Sher Bahadur Deuba. He said this while addressing the third memorial meeting of Pradeep Giri held in Lahan on Thursday.
Minister Khadka said that Shashank is a worthy person and as he is the son of party maker BP Koirala, he will have natural rights. 'There is competition, but after Sher Bahadur Deuba, Dr. Shashank Koirala will become the party president,' he said.
Even though there were comments about Shashank, he insisted that he is a clean person. 'There are comments about him, but he is a clean person,' he said, 'I want to ask him to start preparations from today.'
Similarly, Minister Khadka also claimed that the government is working in a responsible manner towards the people. "The government is working in a responsible manner towards the people," he said.
