After the election commission decided that Ranjita Shrestha is the president of Civil Liberation Party (Naupa), the group of party protector Resham Chaudhary has started a new strategy. They are in discussions to determine the future path.

Resham Group held its national meeting on July 14-15 and announced Ranjita Shrestha as not only the president but also as an ordinary member of the party and declared Lalveer Chaudhary as the president.

Lalveer, who was declared the president on 18th July, submitted an application to the Election Commission to update the party officials. On the other hand, on the same day, Ranjita also gave a notice to the Commission saying that the National Assembly was illegal and that she was the president. After the commission decided not to give legitimacy to Lalveer as the chairman on Tuesday, Resham Group is working on making a new strategy.

Earlier, Resham himself became the president from the first national convention of NAUPA held in Tikapur on 26th January 2080. But after his wife Ranjita submitted a petition to the Election Commission claiming that Resham could not become the chairman of the criminal prosecution, the commission declared the chairmanship of Resham illegal along with the Tikapur Convention.

After the commission called the National Assembly and its decision illegal, after the recent incident in Naupa, Resham, who is considered as a protector and troublemaker, has responded that his morality does not allow him to do politics in Naupa. ``Naupa has become secondary for me . The option of cooperating with the current leadership has ended," Reshamam said to Kantipur, "The party will not run with the current leadership, it will not run. They just played the game of killing the party . They even called me a murderer.'

Stating that he grew up from the issue and identity politics, he said that he will not run away from politics. "The leaders and workers of Naupa have fought a lot on my side, they have suffered a lot, I am grateful to them,"  Resham said, 'We are among the people, we are in the hearts of the people, now we will move forward with new options.'

He says that he is also accused of familyism. He said that they are trying to create a commentary that sometimes the wife and sometimes the father are made the president. Ranjita is the father of Lalveer Resham, who was announced as the president from the national meeting. Resham's latest move was also criticized by many as his familyist views . Instead of Ranjita, Ramlal Dagaura and the leader of the parliamentary party, Gangaram Chaudhary, also claimed the chairmanship. But they bowed before Resham's decision to make his father. At this time, when the idolatry between the Resham couple reached its height, the Resham group decided to remove Ranjita by organizing a national meeting.

The coordinator of the National Assembly, Ramlal Dagaura Tharu, said that there is an internal discussion on how to proceed after the commission's decision. Dagoura, who is also the coordinator of the Election and Discipline Commission in the party, said, "Now we are discussing how to move forward. Now we will take a decision by meeting like today."

Naupa has 21 central members including the president Among them, 13 people stood in favor of silk during the national meeting. Speaker Ranjita was in the minority.

Before that, Ranjitha had appointed Shiv Bastola as caretaker when the tension was growing within the party. While the Resham-Ranjita dispute is at its height, Ranjita has recently been involved in the Lichighari land case in Pokhara. On the same occasion, when Ranjita did not respond to Resham Paksadhar's request to call a meeting of the Central Committee, they decided to organize a national meeting and remove him from ordinary members. But the commission did not recognize the decision of Resham Paksadhar saying that the right to call the national meeting rests with the president.

On the other hand, based on the decision of the Election Commission, President Ranjita is empowered by the party constitution. She has already asked the parliamentary party leader Gangaram Chaudhary for an explanation. Shiv Bastola, the senior vice-president who was appointed as the acting president of Kichlo, said that there is no option for both parties to join each other . "It is enough for the silk side to act according to the law, they have done many times against the law." The Election Commission called the Tikapur convention and the recent national gathering illegal, Bastola said, adding that there is a clash of personalities between them. But there is no option to wait till the convention. After a year and a half, there is a convention . The leadership should have been changed in the convention itself!'

However, in the background of saying that Ranjita cannot be considered as the president, Resham's group is now in discussion about forming a separate party. In that case, the present Naupa will be divided . At that time, the three members of the House of Representatives, who are currently in opposition to Ranjita, may be expelled from the party, and the case may be brought to court again, according to Naupa leaders and activists. Krishnaraj Sarvahari, who is closely watching Naupa, says, "Now I don't think that both groups will unite again."
