Chief Minister of Madhesh Province Satish Kumar Singh has complained to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli that he could not work effectively due to lack of police adjustment.

Addressing the building inauguration program of the Madhesh Police Office on Friday, Chief Minister Singh said that the work of the provincial government is not effective if the police are not adjusted according to the principles of federalism. "The police could not work properly because they were not subordinate to the provincial government," he said, "After the adjustment of the police, the police and the Madhesh government will work more effectively."

Chief Minister Singh said that Madhesh became the provincial police with the investment of the government and after the adjustment of the police, it will also be made the headquarters of the provincial police. He requested the federal government to provide a special package saying that although the government has declared Madhesh as a dry zone, it has not been able to provide relief as per the expectations of the people. There is a need for a special package in Madhesh. I demand a special package from the federal government,' he said, 'I also want to appeal to save the wreck.' Chief Minister Singh also drew the attention of the Prime Minister to speed up the work of Sunkoshi Marine Diversion.
