Janata Samajwadi Party and Rashtriya Mukti Party Nepal have prepared for unity. Both parties have jointly announced unity-oriented working unity on Thursday. Janata Samajwadi Party is led by Ashok Rai.
The Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal led by Upendra Yadav was split last year under the leadership of Rai. The party has representation in the House of Representatives. The party is participating in the KP Oli government with two ministers. Rashtriya Mukti Party Nepal is led by Rajendra Mahato. Both the leaders have signed the letter of agreement on working together. Unity has been prepared by taking turns chairing the
meeting. They are ready to run the party by forming a central coordination committee with the participation of 7/7 leaders including the presidents of both parties. It is said that a coordinating committee will be formed at the provincial and local levels as well. The purpose of unity is to protect and strengthen the federal democratic republic.
Similarly, commitment has been expressed to set the Nepali path of socialism suitable for a multi-ethnic/multi-national state . It is mentioned in the agreement signed by both leaders that they will be active in all fronts of government, parliament and streets for participatory inclusive democracy, good governance.
