UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel said that they are playing a game to weaken the party from within the party and asked them not to engage in such activities.
Pokharel said this while inaugurating the seventh full term meeting of the UML Koshi Province Committee held on Tuesday in Hille, Dhankuta. On that occasion, he said that he should not comment on the work done in public, and asked him to focus on how to strengthen the party. He said that the game of attacking the party members should be stopped by saying that the
convention can still be discussed. Former president Vidya Bhandari said that he cannot return to politics as he is above the party and the president.
In another context, General Secretary Pokharel said that the slogan of prosperous Nepal and happy Nepali will be promoted not only as a national aspiration but also as a destination. He said that Maoists will attack democracy and he said that Maoists can never be trusted.

The meeting will continue till Wednesday. According to party sources, there are 300 participants including 200 representatives from 14 districts across the province in the
meeting. The meeting was addressed by party general secretary Pokharel, head of party publicity and publication department and standing committee member Rajendra Gautam, Koshi committee chairman Ghanshyam Khatiwada, party state in-charge Sherdhan Rai, Koshi chief minister and standing committee member Hikmat Khadka and other leaders addressed the meeting.
