The Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA) has demanded the resignation of the Chairman of the State Order and Good Governance Committee, Ramhari Khatiwada.

Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, MP Manish Jha demanded the resignation of Chairman Khatiwada. His resignation was requested after the committee submitted its report with the conclusion that there is moral and political responsibility for cheating on the cooling off period of the employees in the federal civil service bill.

Member of Parliament Jha argued that he should not remain in office because ethical questions have been raised against Speaker Khatiwada.

He said, "Ethical questions have been raised about the chairman of the state order and good governance committee regarding the cooling off period of employees." When news like this came to the press, we were asked ethical questions. Now a moral question arises for him. Who will answer this nonsense? Who will answer the responsibility? Can you get away with not writing my name? Whose name do we remember when we say the current prime minister? The name of the post is written here."
