Asad 15 is celebrated as Paddy Day and Dahi Chiura is eaten. Today, farmers across the country are eating Dahi Chiura after sowing paddy. In this context, farmers are eating Dahi Chiura after completing Paddy Sowing Day in Shuddhodhan Rural Municipality-2, Harnampur. Kalika Swabalamban Social Development Center and Shuddhodhan Rural Municipality have organized this Dahi Chiura eating program. It is believed that eating Dahi Chiura on Asad 15 will provide physical energy for agricultural work. Dahi Chiura is eaten because it gives energy and coolness to the tired body while sowing paddy. Asad 15 is considered the main time for sowing and growing paddy, that is, for agricultural work. Ramsurat Pal, Information Officer of the Agricultural Knowledge Center, said that this tradition was also established so that farmers who work in the rush of sowing can get energy.
