After the Election Commission recognized the special general convention of the Nepali Congress, the cadres of President Gagan Thapa's faction have started celebrating. The cadres of Thapa and Sher Bahadur Deuba's factions had gathered outside the Election Commission on Friday night. With the commission recognizing the special general convention on Friday evening, the Thapa faction has now become the official Congress.
