A demonstration was held at Maitighar Mandal in Kathmandu on Tuesday against the US attack on Venezuela. The Central Joint Struggle Committee and the Progressive Transformation Movement demonstrated this afternoon. The struggle committee includes the Nepali Communist Party, the CPN (Majority), the Scientific Socialist Communist Party, the CPN Jana Paksha, and the Socialist Communist Party. They took to the streets with placards with slogans such as 'Let's struggle to protect Venezuela's sovereignty' and 'American imperialism is a dead end'.
