The Nepali Communist Party (NCP) held a unity message rally at Bhrikuti Mandap in Kathmandu on Saturday. The rally was organized by the Bagmati Province Committee, Liaison Coordination and Special Province Committee. Leaders including NCP Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Co-Coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal, Jhalanath Khanal, Bamdev Gautam, Narayan Kaji Shrestha addressed the rally. Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that the people and political parties wanted a united front in the elections, but some elements were trying to influence that desire. He said that there was no alternative to holding the elections on the announced date to prevent the country from facing difficulties.
